Gas Powered RC Cars can be a challenge for beginners and electric RC cars can sometimes be a better choice for learning on. Crashing a gas RC car generally results in a pile of smoldering rubble as the speed and weight of the car creates more force than an electric RC car. The throttle also has a latency a bit higher than electric cars which takes some time to get used to.
Although electric cars may be cheaper than gas cars, the power from gas engines are insane so you never have to worry about getting stuck in rough terrain and street racing against an electric car becomes a joke. A gas car at half the price will smoke an electric car on the track so if your serious into racing this is the way to go!
There is not a whole bunch of overwhelming variables when choosing Gas Powered RC Cars and what few exist are explained in detail on the products page. Although you will win a race against any electric car it takes time, skill and experience to be able to compete against true RC racers.
