Nitro 4-Tec 3.3 (Nitro)
If you want speed, the Nitro 4-Tec 3.3 delivers. The car is most appropriate for asphalt areas where it can release its full range of speed. The car can reach speeds of more than 70 miles per hour. Part of the reason for this extra speed, is a 60% increase in horsepower over the TRX 2.5 engine. Plus, its electric starting simple makes it easy to begin racing. If something has gone wrong, you’ll receive instant notification via the LED screen. Furthermore, the more efficient three-belt drive system has been designed specifically for maximum speed.
The steering system is also more highly advanced and allows for expert handling even at the top speeds thanks to a bellcrank steering system equipped with ball-bearings. The oil-filled ultra shocks and X-ring seals help reduce friction for a smoother ride. Even though the car goes so fast, you may only be able to see it as a flash, the look of the body has also been improved. From the mesh wheels to the ProGraphix body graphics available in four colors, the chassis looks as powerful as the engine. Add the look to the 2.5mm 6061-T6 aluminum chassis for a total look that is unforgettable. Another improvement in the model is that the receiver box is fully enclosed so it will be protected against spills and dirt. The model comes with all wheel-drive and adjustable two-speed transmission. The high-impact bumper protects the vehicle from damage and allows it to take a lot of abuse.
4-Tec (Electric)Unlike the Nitro 4-Tech 3.3, the 4-Tec model is strictly electric. Although it may not be able to reach the same speeds, it makes a good choice for radio control enthusiasts.
The 4-Tec can reach speeds of up to 24 miles per hour thanks to the Stinger 20-turn modified motor. However, there’s more to speed when it comes to this model. You’ll also smoother performance thanks to a ball bearing transmission and the dual-belt all-wheel drive system. The car’s suspension is also designed for top performance with fully-independent 4-wheel suspension that is also fully adjustable to meet your needs on almost any terrain. The oil-filled ultra shocks also add to the performance and can provide superior ability to handle the bumps and rough spots along the path.
In addition to all of these benefits, you’ll also have improved handling and steering thanks to the bellcrank steering system. The U-joint driveshafts and easy-to-change gear shafts also add to the overall performance you can enjoy from this model. The appearance and body are also equally high-performing. The chassis is constructed of tough, fiber-composite so it can take the abuse you throw at it. Plus, you’ll be able to choose from four Prographix color schemes so your car can look the way you want. The pre-glued nylon mesh wheels not only look good but also help keep the wheels on the ground in any conditions.
